GP - Guadeloupe
When to go:
The high season runs from November to March, but the weather is good until early June, then there is the risk of heavy rain or even hurricanes. The beaches exposed to the trade winds that blow all year round from the east are ideal for windsurfing and kytesurfing enthusiasts, less for those looking for crystal clear water and calm seas. Night rains are more frequent all year round than in other areas of the Caribbean due to the altitude of the Soufriére volcano which intercepts the clouds.
