LC - Saint Lucia

Saint Lucia is an island in the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean Sea, between the islands of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and Martinique.

To know:
Saint Lucia lies between Martinique in the north and Saint Vincent in the south. Further away, to the southeast is Barbados. The island is of volcanic origin. Its maximum height is represented by the 950 m summit of Morne Gimie.
Less high but more spectacular are the two volcanic cones of “Gros Piton” (797 m) and “Petit Piton” (750 m) which rise in the southwestern stretch of coast at the bay of Soufrière which is what remains of the caldera of Qualibou, largely submerged in the Caribbean Sea.

When to go:
The rainy season runs from June to November, while the dry season from December to May.
