Oceania is the continent that includes, besides Australia and New Zealand, innumerable islands, atolls and archipelagos of much more modest dimensions scattered in the immensity of the Pacific Ocean.

Australia – The largest and most populous nation in Oceania. It includes the wonderful cities of Adelaide, Brisbane, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and the capital Canberra. It also has one of the largest deserts in the world at its center.
      New Zealand – One of the main destinations, second only to Australia in terms of extension. Widely regarded as one of the most beautiful and unspoiled nations in the world. Widespread and well-developed tourist structures. Geographically belonging to Polynesia, the Maori natives are Polynesians and the Auckland metropolitan area there are more Polynesians than there are in all the cities of Polynesia put together.
      Papua New Guinea – Tropical rainforest, great scenarios and varied cultures. An adventurous and rarely visited destination, where it is recommended to stay alert.
      Polynesia – No other place is able to evoke heavenly images as much as Polynesia. Stunning paradisiacal islands scattered for thousands of kilometers in the South Pacific.
Cook Islands – Rarotonga is the most visited island together with the smallest coral Aitutaki.
Pitcairn Islands, Niue.
French Polynesia (France) – Tahiti is the best known of the islands of the Society but the most visited are the nearby * Bora Bora and Moorea. Tuamotu belong to French Polynesia, a group of atolls of which the most visited is that of Rangiroa and the Marquesas Islands which includes Hiva Oa linked to the memory of the painter Paul Gaugin and the Belgian composer Jacques Brel who chose to spend the last days of their life.
Samoa, American Samoa – (United States), Tokelau – (New Zealand), Tonga, Tuvalu,
Wallis and Futuna – (France).
      Melanesia – Closely linked to its ethnic-cultural traditions of nearby Papua New Guinea (often considered to belong to Melanesia), Fiji is undoubtedly the most visited nation.
Fiji – Viti Levu is the main island surrounded by tiny archipelagos such as the Yasawa islands where the scenes of the film Blue Lagoon and the Mamanuca Islands were filmed, of which the uninhabited islet of Monuriki is part of which was the background to another film of success, “Cast Away”.
Solomon Islands –
New Caledonia, French overseas department, Vanuatu.
      Micronesia – The tiny islands of Micronesia are located north of the equator, and are less impacted by mass tourism than other groups of islands. Palau is the ideal destination for those looking for a beautiful destination.
Guam (United States), Northern Mariana Islands (United States), Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Nauru, Palau, Palau are an exceptional destination for scuba diving enthusiasts. The major islands are Angaur, Babeldaob, Koror and Peleliu. The last three are surrounded by a single coral reef.
