Territories and tourist destinations

       Northern Keeling Island – Small island located at a distance of about thirty kilometers from the others.
       Southern Keeling Islands – Large group of islands comprising the only two inhabited islands.
Only two of the islands of the archipelago are inhabited:

West Island (in Malay: Pulau Panjang) – Populated by Europeans
Home Island (in Malay: Pulau Selma) – Where an indigenous Malay community lives.
Urban centers
West Island – With about a hundred people, it is the main settlement of the island of the same name and is the capital of the Cocos (Keeling) islands.
Bantam – With about 500 inhabitants, it represents the main settlement of Home Island of the entire Cocos (Keeling) islands.
