The island has a tropical climate. The cyclone season runs from December to March and in this period the average temperature is 27 ° C. During the rest of the year the temperature is lower, with an average of 24 ° C, thanks also to the south-east trade winds. Precipitation, abundant with rainfall concentrated mainly between November and April.
