Territories and tourist destinations:

      Southern Papua New Guinea – This region covers the National Capital District of Port Moresby and the central and northern provinces. The starting point for all visits to Papua New Guinea.
      West Papua New Guinea – The western and gulf provinces. Charming but little visited provinces. Bird watchers’ paradise.
      Madang-Morobe – Madang has volcanic islands and good diving spots, while Morobe is the beginning of the Highlands Highway and an original gold rush area.
      Papua New Guinea Highlands – Consists of the provinces of Enga, Chimbu and the southern, western and eastern highlands, surprising culture and rare tribal fighting.
      Sepik – The provinces of Sandaun (western Sepik) and eastern Sepik finally the mighty Sepik river.
      Milne Bay – The eastern region with many fascinating islands.
      New Britain of Papua New Guinea – New Britain has many ruins in sight dating back to World War II, both above and underwater.
      New Ireland and Manus – Land where the first human settlements took place. Fishing, diving, sailing and surfing as well as an interesting culture.
      Bougainville – An autonomous island region, culturally and geographically more akin to the Solomon Islands.
