BI - Burundi

Burundi’s climate is tropical, however mitigated both by the altitude and by the influence of Lake Tanganyika. Precipitation is more abundant (over 1400 mm / year) on the eastern plateau while near the lake and in the Ruzizi valley it decreases and there is a drier season from October to March.
