GH - Ghana

Ghana has a tropical climate, with strong variations in temperatures and rainfall depending on the distance from the sea. The “coldest” month is almost everywhere in March (18-20 ° C), and the hottest August, with an annual average of around 26 ° C. In the northern region, from March to September there is the rainy season while the drought caused by the Saharan wind Harmattan can last from 4 to 6 months. In the central and southern areas (therefore closer to the coast), rainfall is concentrated between April and June and between September and November, in particular along the western coast.
