BR - Brazil

Territories and tourist destinations:

Brazil is the fifth largest country in the world. Within it, five major regions are distinguished according to economic planning criteria. It should be noted that these regions listed below do not respect the natural, economic or cultural borders, but only those of political geography of the internal states.

Northern Brazil – Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Pará, Rondônia, Roraima, Tocantins La Região Norte corresponds to the Amazon basin where Indian culture still dominates.
Northeast Brazil – Alagoas, Bahia, Ceará, Maranhão, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Rio Grande do Norte, Sergipe The Região Nordeste is the one where the black culture (especially in Bahia) is permeated by ancient Iberian folklore. The most beautiful sea in Brazil is found here plus a warmer and sunny climate. However, it is also the poorest region in the country
Central-western Brazil – Federal District, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul La Região Centro-Oeste is home to the wild Pantanal, a territory with a delicate ecological balance with a very diverse fauna. Here is the young capital Brasilia known worldwide for its daring urban planning.
Southeast Brazil – Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro, Sao Paulo La Região Sudeste is the country’s industrial economic heart with interesting colonial cities.
Southern Brazil – Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, Santa Catarina La Região Sul is the most highly developed area in the country, with valleys and pampas where the Gaucha tradition and European culture is felt as in neighboring Uruguay and Argentina.
