When to go:

The best time for a visit to the country is in the period of time from mid-December to mid-April. This is the period of the dry season, at least on the Pacific coast, and hotels take advantage of this to increase room prices.

However, on the Caribbean side, the climatic conditions are slightly different as the rains are equally distributed throughout the year. Here there is less rainfall in the two months of February-March and September-October.

Being the country between 7.19 ° and 9.6 degrees above the equatorial line, the temperatures remain constant throughout the year of the arc but vary considerably as a result of the altitude.

The wet season runs from May to December. The heat in this period is unbearable.

For those interested in the folkloric aspects, Carnival is a good time to visit the country by relapsing the festival during the dry season. The most famous of the Panamanian carnivals takes place in Las Tablas, the capital of the Province of Los Santos.
