MQ - Martinique
When to go:
The high season runs from November to March, but the weather is good until mid-June, then there is the risk of heavy rain or even hurricanes. The Atlantic beaches are almost all exposed to the trade winds that blow all year round from the east, ideal for windsurfing and kytesurfing enthusiasts, those looking for crystal clear water and calm sea will address the Caribbean side. Night rains are frequent all year round due to the altitude of the central area that intercepts the clouds. The rains are more intense in the northern part of the island while they decrease considerably in the southern part.
