BZ - Belize

When to go:

Belize has a tropical climate, therefore very hot and humid. The best time to visit the country is from February to May, a season characterized by the absence of rains which, however, is also a peak season. The next period (rainy season) is low season except for August and December, months in which prices soar as a consequence of the greater flow of American and, to a much lesser extent, European tourists. December is a rainy month and August is the same. The showers are usually short-lived and afterwards the sun shines again. However, August is the deadline to visit Belize, after which the risk of coming across some hurricane becomes more substantial. Hurricanes that bring coastal floods, especially in the south, are prevalent in the June-November period.
