When to go:
      Subtropical in the Basseterre, temperate in the mountains of the interior. Keep in mind that when it is autumn in Italy, the coast on the Caribbean Sea is subject to hurricanes that often bring with them devastating floods. Territories and tourist destinations:
       Caribbean coast of Honduras – La Ceiba is the main tourist center on the Caribbean Sea. From its port we sail to the Islas de la Bahía. Includes the Río Plátano biosphere reserve which is a UNESCO heritage site and the Islas de la Bahía department where Utila and Roatan are popular destinations for scuba divers.
       Inland Honduras – Includes the capital, mountains, Mayan ruins and mountain villages dating back to the Spanish colonial era.
       Oceanic coast of Honduras – Small region with relevant ports on the Pacific ocean.
