BE - Belgium
Territories and tourist destinations:
Flanders – The northern “Dutch-speaking” region. It includes well-known cities such as: Bruges, Ypres, Ghent, Leuven, Aalst and Antwerp.
Brussels – Bilingual capital and seat of the European Union.
Wallonia – Francophone region in the south of the country. The main centers of interest are Namur, the capital, Tournai, Dinant, Mons. Charleroi has less interest but has an airport with flights from Italian airports also operated by Ryanair. Inside there is also Ardennes, a sub-region in the east of the country and corresponding to the territories of the provinces of Namur, Liege and Luxembourg. The most interesting destinations are Bouillon, Bastogne, Han-sur-Lesse, Durbuy, Spa, Eupen with the nearby park of Hautes Fagnes Park and Robertville on the lake of the same name.
Urban centers
Brussels – unesco The capital of Belgium and the unofficial capital of the EU. Nice historic center and several museums of interest. One of the most multicultural cities in Europe.
Antwerp – unesco The second largest city in Belgium, with a gigantic cathedral, medieval streets and artistic heritage, and a great place for fashion.
Bruges – unesco One of the richest cities in Europe in the 14th century, today it is a tourist town but still very authentic, medieval and peaceful at night, with small guesthouses and family businesses that far outweigh the hotels of the famous chains.

Dinant
Ghent – unesco Once one of the largest cities in Europe, now a perfect blend of Antwerp and Bruges: a cozy city with canals, but with a rich history and a vibrant student population.
Liège – Second largest city in Wallonia, along a wide river, industrial cityscape with excursions and locations in the nearby hills, has a very strong, independent character and an exciting nightlife.
Leuven – unesco A small town dominated by one of the oldest universities in Europe. Beautiful old town and a lively nightlife.
Mechelen (Mellina) – unesco A small medieval town with a beautiful historic district around the cathedral.
Mons – unesco It has the extraordinary privilege of having three sites registered on the UNESCO World Heritage List and an event that is part of the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
Namur – Capital of Wallonia, at the confluence of Sambre and Meuse with the Citadel.
Ostend
Tournai – unesco Famous mostly for its cathedral which is a Unesco World Heritage Site.
Other destinations
Ardennes – the most sparsely populated region of Benelux, is a hilly area covered with forests
Dinant – small town in a beautiful natural setting, a popular place for adventure sports such as canoeing and rock climbing, best visited in winter
Grimbergen – Known for the beer of the same name, which became famous all over the world, but still brewed in its abbey.
Kraainem – a municipality with a rich industrial history on the outskirts of Brussels with many historical monuments.
Poperinge – destroyed during the First World War, this former military stronghold is characterized by memorials and cemeteries.
Flemish Brabant Province – also called “Tuscany of the North”, is a green region west of Brussels, made up of rolling hills, meadows, small villages and castles. The Geuze beer house is ideal for hiking, cycling and horse riding.
Spa – the hot water treatments of the spa town that gave its name to all the spas in the world have attracted visitors for centuries.
Tervuren – known for its proximity to the lush Sonian forest, its parks and the royal summer residence.
