Nicosia – Capital of Cyprus, Nicosia is divided into two sectors, one Greek and the other Turkish.
Ayia Napa – Famous seaside resort on the eastern end of the southern coast.
Famagusta – A ghost town declared a military zone after the Turkish invasion of 1974. However, it is not excluded from visits.
Larnaca – City on the south-east coast in whose immediate vicinity is the international airport of Cyprus.
Limassol – Main port of Cyprus.
Paphos – Seaside resort on the southwest coast with an international airport.
Polis – Village on the Gulf of Chrisochoou, north of Pafos.
Other destinations
Troodos Mountains – A mountainous massif of volcanic origin sprinkled with idyllic villages and with a certain abundance of woods and waters on a mostly arid island.
