European regions:

      Balkans – Includes: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia. The Balkans are a region rich in history, often turbulent, there are beautiful natural areas, picturesque cities, imposing monasteries, impervious mountain areas rich in forests and lakes.
      Baltic States – Includes Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia. Three fascinating states that offer splendid beaches along the coast, medieval historical centers, and a splendid natural scenery. Estonia has linguistic and cultural ties to Finland.
      Benelux – Includes Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands. These seemingly flat states have a lot to offer the traveler. The Netherlands are known for its hooves, cheeses, tulips and windmills, for its liberal attitudes and painters. Belgium is a multilingual country with beautiful cities of art, bordering Luxembourg on the Ardennes hills.
      Britain and Ireland – It is an archipelago comprising Great Britain, Ireland, Isle of Man and the English Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey etc.). The United Kingdom (made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) is a mosaic of indigenous and immigrant cultures, possessing a fascinating history and a dynamic modern culture, which continue to influence the rest of the world. Ireland has characteristic landscapes and customs, traditions and folklore.
      Caucasus – Includes Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia. The Caucasus is a mountain range between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, considered part of the natural border between Europe and Asia. The Caucasus is a dense, warm, friendly and generally safe region for traveling. There are some incredibly diverse landscapes and an exceptional wealth of ancient churches, cathedrals and monasteries.
      Central Europe – Includes: Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Liechtenstein, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland.
      France and Monaco – France is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world and geographically one of the most diverse countries in Europe. Some of its tourist attractions include Paris, the French Riviera, the Atlantic beaches, the winter sports resorts of the Alps, the castles of the Loire valley, Brittany, Normandy and the Dordogne, and the rural landscape of Provence. The country is also known for its gastronomy (especially wines and cheeses), history, culture and fashion.
      Greece, Turkey, Cyprus and Northern Cyprus – With the largest number of sunny hours in Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean is a paradise for beach and culture lovers.
      Iberian Peninsula – Includes: Andorra, Gibraltar, Portugal, Spain. The countries of the Iberian peninsula are great destinations for their rich and unique cultures, lively cities, beautiful countryside and friendly inhabitants.
      Italian Peninsula – Includes: Italy, Malta, San Marino, Vatican City. Rome, Milan, Florence, Venice, Naples, Pisa, Turin, Palermo and Genoa are on the itineraries of many travelers, but these are just some of the Italian destinations. Italy is very famous for its history, art, culture and food and wine; it also has excellent bathing facilities and a favorable climate. Along the mountain ranges of the Alps and the Apennines there are also many winter tourism resorts.
      Eastern Europe – Includes Russia, Ukraine and Belarus. Russia is a country of large empty spaces that extend east to the Pacific Ocean. Ukraine is a diverse country that has a lot to offer, from the seaside resorts of the Black Sea to the beautiful city of Odessa, Lviv and Kiev. North of Ukraine lies Belarus, a country unlike any other place, commonly known as the last dictatorship of Europe.
      Northern Europe – Includes: Denmark, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden. Magnificent landscape of mountains, lakes, glaciers, geysers, waterfalls and volcanoes. Finland is culturally different in that it has a language unlike other Scandinavian languages.
