The best time to visit Bahrain is late autumn. The winters are characterized by a considerable daytime excursion and the cold is felt at night and early in the morning so you need to pack heavier items. In winter, hailstorms can occur. October and April are months during which the heat is barely bearable. From May to September the thermometer rises to improbable levels and sandstorms are driven by “qaws”, dry winds from the south-west.
