KH - Cambodia

Cambodia has a tropical climate dominated by monsoons, so there are only two seasons, with rains or not; the best time to visit Cambodia is from December to February when it is windy and cool, after which temperatures rise gradually until they reach home-baked values in the months of April and May. May marks the beginning of the monsoon season which lasts until October. In this period the rains are not very frequent but they can prove to be particularly violent causing disastrous floods as happened in the years 2001 and 2002.
