Bangladesh is a small densely populated state divided into seven divisions, in turn formed by districts (zila) further divided into subdistricts (upazila).

      Dhaka Division (ঢাকা Đhaka) – It houses the capital, jute crops and rice fields.
      Chittagong Division (চট্টগ্রাম Chôţţogram) – A picturesque hinterland of wide hills, forests and beaches.
      Rajshahi Division (রাজশাহী Rajshahi) – Known for its silk, mango and dozens of archaeological ruins.
      Division of Khulna (খুকলনা Khulna) – A relaxing and peaceful area which includes Sundarbans; the largest mangrove forest in the world.
      Sylhet (সিলেট Sileţ) – Home to endless tea plantations and beautiful natural scenery.
      Barisal Division (বরিশাল Borishal) – The land of rivers, rice fields and vegetation.
      Division of Rangpur (রংপুর Rongpur) – Temples, culture and a rural lifestyle.
