IT – Cisliano – Church

Cisliano has Roman origins and was a fund of the illustrious Roman gens Caecilia. The name of the city derives from a Caecilius or a former slave of Caecilius, who inhabited these lands. In 1903, twenty-four complete tombs were discovered in the municipal area, suggesting that the place had already been inhabited in Roman times.
